Will it be possible to purchase these bus tickets on-line, via the Internet or do you have AGENTS in South Africa that can supply?

Linda, you should call the service hotline. We are not associated with the bus company and are just providing the timetable as a resource to Guangzhou visitors.

Henry, the timetable is displayed above. The train is the fastest way to get from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. You can get a bus back to Hong Kong from one of the drop-off points mentioned in the timetable.
Dennis, I don't know the price of a bus to Huang Gang from the airport. You may be able to get a KCR train.

I checked bus and KCR train in H.K. and I noticed that it is good idea to take bus (coach) from
H.K. airport to Guangzhao direct.First Lo wu (entering port to mainland China) after 2 times
stop check points, first H.K. custom check than half hour later there is mainland China
customs check point. This is very trouble because everyone must take all luggage and belongings
from buses, than walk long way to customs than come back to buses again. You must handle
this problem 2 times. There is no choice.Mosquitos are another problem.
After Shenzhen than finally Guangzhao. It is better to take China Travel bus from H.K. airport.
Not Go Go bus.Because, if you want to take long distance bus (provincial buses)
in Guangzhao for travel another city, choose ride China Travel bus in H.K.This bus stops
at China Marriot Hotel as last station. This is last stop.It is very close to Provincial bus station (long
distance buses). If you want go to H.K airport from Guangzhao you should go to China Marriot Hotel
again. You can purchase your ticket from bus desk located inside lobby.
you can purchase the H.K airport express ticket inside hotel lobby area.

Not Go Go buses because they stopping at Garden Hotel esat of Guangzhao and it is far from
provincial bus and train stations. No good idea.

If you want take train from H.K to Guangzhao you should go to Hun Hom train station where too
many destination trains leaving from here as departing point. So from H.K airport to Hung Hom
long distance train station, will take too much loosing of time.Perhaps you have to wait there
long time for next available train to Guangzhao. It will cost same money. Is is good idea to take
China Travel long distance bus from H.K. airport to Guangzhao.

Bruno, all buses will have to stop and go through customs, and this generally involves taking your luggage through with you. Additionally, Hong Kong vehicles are on the left and China on the right, and this entails a change of bus anyway. If you are heading to the Garden Hotel or surrounding area then the GoGo bus would be a good choice. If you're not heading there another bus may be better.
Trains from Hung Hom are approximately every hour. My personal preference is always for the train as it's a nicer and more consistent journey. Of course, if you are arriving in Hong Kong airport and going directly to Guangzhou without staying overnight then a bus may be an easier choice, especially if you have lots of luggage. If you are stopping in Hong Kong then the train is better.

hi, my family is traveling direct to Guangzhou from the Hong Kong
international Airport. we are 6 adult, 5 kids and 1 elderly couple
traveling together. we will be checking in at Chime Long Hotel.
what is the best way to travel by bus or train? from the comments i
read its quite troublesome to get off bus with luggage to go thru
customs. would the train be easier?
Feb 11, 2009 11:17 am |
the bus is indeed quite a hassle, getting of and on through the
border etc. you can take the direct train from Guang zhou dong huo
che zhan to kowloon (about 200 rmb). you cross the border in GZ,
take the direct train over the border, get out in hk and cross the
border. quite easy actually. then you can take a bus or MTR to HK
airport good luck guido

Hello, I need some help. This October, I will arrive at Hong KOng
airport and I need to go straight to Guangzhou. I will be staying
at the Lilac INternational Suite (along Taisheng Road, Tianhe
District). If I choose a bus, what is the best bus to take and
where do I get off the bus? What station? I would appreciate your
help. Thank you very much.

I always take CTS (China travel service) busses. Cheap and good, no
hassle. From HK airport to downtown Guangzhou (garden hotel, white
swan, tian he) is 220 RMB. Takes about 3-4 hrs depending on traffic
and custom clearance. If you wanna save money, take a bus to HK
island first (40 HKD) and then take the bus from downtown HK, 80
HKD to downtown Guangzhou. The fastest way I'd say is take the
direct train from Hong Kong Hung Hom train station (get there by
subway from the airport or by bus and then by subway). total trip
about 190 rmb (train) + 40 rmb (get from the airport to the city).
The train is really nice, you pass customs only at the entrance and
exit, no hassle. good luck

Feb 4, 2010 3:21 am |
We'll be landed in HK airport around 9:05pm, July 10/2010 and would
like to tranfer to Guangzhou by bus. How long the bus trip would
be? Any stopage at the border? How about the luggage, do we need to
go through a luggage checkpoint? Thanks.
Feb 8, 2010 6:45 pm |
You arrived at 9:05 PM, it might not have a night bus to Guangzhou that late. You'd better check with the company. It normally takes 3 hour and a half. You will need to go through checkpoint with your luggages, then they might change another bus, but there are always someone to guide you. Don't worry! They service is always pretty good. I have been their bus for more than 5 times now. Hope it helps.

3539 Ranjider you are much better taking the an airport bus to
shangshui, going one stop on the train and crossing over at Lo Wu.
from there taking another trainn to dongguan. Or taking the high
speed train into Hong Kong and then the KCR to Lo WU. although
possibble, it would be difficult and expensive to take a taxi out
to dongguan becuasse of having to cross the border in Shenzhen
